Abstract

The condition of the transportation infrastructure in East Manggarai Regency is still much damaged, especially the physical condition of the roads such as potholes, gravel roads and the ground surface which is in a very damaged condition. Based on PUPR data for East Manggarai Regency in 2020, the length of roads with gravel and soil surfaces is 577,781 km, which means that more than 50% of the total road length in East Manggarai Regency has not been asphalted. Road conditions that are difficult to access can hinder people's mobility, one of which is economic activity. In this study, it will be studied how the influence of transportation infrastructure on economic growth in East Manggarai Regency. The analytical method used is the calculation of multiple linear regression and processed using the SPSS calculator. The results of the study show that there is a simultaneous influence of transportation infrastructure on economic growth in East Manggarai Regency. Partially the variables of good condition roads (X1), arterial roads (X2), the number of transportation supporting infrastructure (X5), transportation fares (X6) and the number of public transport companies (X7) have a significant effect on economic growth in East Manggarai Regency. Meanwhile, the variable distance to transportation infrastructure (X3) and the number of modes of transportation (X4) have no effect on economic growth in East Manggarai Regency = Kondisi infrastruktur transportasi di Kabupaten Manggarai Timur masih banyak mengalami kerusakan, khususnya kondisi fisik ruas jalan seperti jalan berlubang, berkerikil, dan permukaan tanah dengan kondisi rusak berat. Berdasarkan data PUPR Kabupaten Manggarai Timur tahun 2020, panjang jalan dengan permukaan kerikil dan tanah sepanjang 577,781 km, itu artinya lebih dari 50% total panjang jalan di Kabupaten Manggarai Timur belum diaspal. Kondisi jalan yang sulit diakses dapat menghambat mobilitas masyarakat, salah satunya aktivitas ekonomi. Pada penelitian ini akan dikaji mengenai bagaimana pengaruh infrastruktur transportasi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Manggarai Timur. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu perhitungan regresi linier berganda dan diolah menggunakan alat hitung SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara simultan infrastruktur transportasi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Manggarai Timur. Secara parsial variabel jalan kondisi baik (X1), jalan arteri (X2), jumlah prasarana penunjang transportasi (X5), tarif angkutan (X6) dan jumlah perusahaan angkutan umum (X7) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Manggarai Timur. Sedangkan, variabel jarak menuju prasarana transportasi (X3) dan jumlah moda transportasi (X4) tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Manggarai Timur.
