Abstract
The safe radius standard that has been implemented by Drill & Blast
Engineering PT. Putra Perkasa Abadi PT. Borneo Indobara refers to KEPMEN
ESDM Number 1827 K/30/MEM/2018 which is 300 m for alar and 500 m for
humans. However, as mining progressed, the pits began to narrow, coupled with a
large number of blasting sites spread across the Kusan Girimulya Selatan pit, the
tools began to find it difficult to evacuate to a safe radius. If in the current
conditions a reduction in the safe radius of the tool is to be carried out, then an
analysis is needed regarding the flyrock of the blasting activity, whether the safe
radius can be reduced or still refers to the current regulations.
The research was conducted by measuring the actual maximum throw
distance of the flyrock in the field and calculating the theoretical maximum throw
of the flyrock. Observations or data collection were carried out 25 times and the
maximum throw of the flyrock was 131.06 m. This distance is shorter than 300 m,
so a trial or further analysis is needed to reduce the safe radius of the tool to 200
m.
By calculating the maximum flyrock throw distance using the dimensional
analysis method by Ebrahim Ghasemi's theory by comparing the estimated flyrock
throw based on the blasting geometry and the actual flyrock throw, the
percentage error is 24,5% with an average throw distance of 70.55 m. Based on
the results of the dimensional analysis, it is estimated that the theoretical longest
throwing distance is 156,64 m. This indicates that the blasting geometry applied
by PT. Putra Perkasa Abadi PT. Borneo Indobara is good enough, therefore it is
concluded that the safe radius of the blasting device at the South Girimulya Kusan
Pit can be reduced from 300 m to 200 m = Standar radius aman yang selama ini diterapkan oleh Drill & Blast
Engineering PT. Putra Perkasa Abadi site PT. Borneo Indobara mengacu pada
KEPMEN ESDM Nomor 1827 K/30/MEM/2018 yaitu 300 m untuk alar dan 500
m untuk manusia. Namun seiring berjalannya kemajuan penambangan, pit yang
milai menyempit ditambah dengan lokasi peledakan yang cukup banyak dan
menyebar pada pit Kusan Girimulya Selatan, alat mulai kesulitan untuk evakuasi
bergerak menuju radius aman. Jika pada kondisi saat ini akan dilakukan
penurunan radius aman alat, maka diperlukan analisis terkait flyrock dari kegiatan
peledakan tersebut, apakah radius aman tersebut dapat dikurangi atau tetap
mengacu pada aturan saat ini.
Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengukur jarak lemparan maksimum flyrock
secara aktual di lapangan dan menghitung lemparan maksimum flyrock secara
teoritis. Pengamatan atau pengambilan data dilakukan sebanyak 25 kali dan
didapatkan lemparan maksimal flyrock adalah 131,06 m. Jarak tersebut lebih
pendek dari angka 300 m, maka diperlukan trial atau analisis lanjutan untuk
mengurangi jarak radius aman alat menjadi 200 m.
Dengan melakukan perhitungan jarak lemparan flyrock maksimum
menggunakan metode analisis dimensi oleh teori Ebrahim Ghasemi dengan
membandingkan perkiraan lemparan flyrock berdasarkan geometri peledakan dan
lemparan flyrock aktual, maka didapatkan persentasi Error yaitu 24,5% dengan
rata-rata jarak lemparan 70,55 m. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dimensi diperoleh
perkiraan jarak lemparan terjauh teoritis yaitu sebesar 156,64 m hal tersebut
menunjukkan bahwa penerapan geometri peledakan yang diterapkan oleh PT.
Putra Perkasa Abadi site PT. Borneo Indobara sudah cukup baik maka dari itu
disimpulkan bahwa radius aman alat peda peledakan di Pit Kusan Girimulya
Selatan dapat dikurangi dari 300 m menjadi 200 m.
