Abstract

Memasuki era globalisasi, transportasi jalan sangat diperlukan dan akan terus berkembang, khususnya di Indonesia. Kabupaten Sleman merupakan wilayah yang paling berkembang diwilayah Yogyakarta. Sebagai salah satu kota berkembang di pulau Jawa khususnya didaerah Yogyakarta, Sleman merupakan pusat segala kegiatan baik dari ekonomi, perdagangan, jasa, industry, pendidikan dan parawisata. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung volume kendaraan yang melewati persimpangan jalan pada jam – jam sibuk dan mengevaluasi kinerja simpang empat tak bersinyal yang ditunjukan dengan nilai – nilai kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, tundaan dan peluang antrian dengan mengacu pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 (MKJI, 1997).

Metode pelaksanaan penelitian pada tahapan pertama dilakukan pengamatan lokasi penelitian. Dalam pengumpulan data tersebut dibutuhkan dua data yaitu data Primer dan data Sekunder. Penelitian dilakukan selama tiga hari yaitu pada Hari Sabtu, Hari Minggu dan Hari Senin pada jam – jam sibuk.

Setelah dilakukan penelitian, kondisi eksisting menunjukkan hasil dengan Derajat Kejenuhan sebesar 0,32 dan Kapasitas 2586,53 smp/jam. Dalam standarisasi Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI, 1997), maka perhitungan pada simpang tersebut tidak memerlukan perhitungan alternatif karena nilai Derajat Kejenuhan yang didapat pada perhitungan simpang empat tak bersinyal Jalan Selokan Mataram - Jalan–Perumnas Sleman Yogyakarta tidak melebihi nilai standar Derajat Kejenuhan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI, 1997).

ABSTRACT

Entering the era of globalization, road transportation is very necessary and will continue to grow, especially in Indonesia. Sleman Regency is the most developed area in Yogyakarta. As one of the developing cities on the island of Java, especially in the Yogyakarta area, Sleman is the center of all activities both from the economy, trade, services, industry, education and tourism. So this study aims to calculate the volume of vehicles passing through intersections during rush hours and evaluate the performance of unsignalized intersections as indicated by the values of capacity, degree of saturation, delays and queuing opportunities with reference to the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI, 2007). 1997).

The method of carrying out the research in the first stage was observing the research location. In collecting the data, two data are needed, namely primary data and secondary data. The study was conducted for three days, namely on Saturday, Sunday and Monday during peak hours.

After doing the research, the existing conditions showed results with a degree of saturation of 0.32 and a capacity of 2586.53 pcu/hour. In the standardization of the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI, 1997), the calculation at this intersection does not require an alternative calculation because the value of the Degree of Saturation obtained in the calculation of the unsignalized intersection of Jalan Sewer Mataram - Jalan-Perumnas Sleman Yogyakarta does not exceed the standard value of the Degree of Saturation Manual Capacity Indonesian Road (MKJI, 1997).
