Putra Perkasa Abadi PT. Borneo Indobara refers to KEPMEN ESDM Number 1827 K/30/MEM/2018 which is 300 m for alar and 500 m for humans. However, as mining progressed, the pits began to narrow, coupled with a large number of blasting sites spread across the Kusan Girimulya Selatan pit, the tools began to find it difficult to evacuate to a safe radius. If in the current conditions a reduction in the safe radius of the tool is to be carried out, then an analysis is needed regarding the flyrock of the blasting activity, whether the safe radius can be reduced or still refers to the current regulations. The research was conducted by measuring the actual maximum throw distance of the flyrock in the field and calculating the theoretical maximum throw of the flyrock. Observations or data collection were carried out 25 times and the maximum throw of the flyrock was 131.06 m. This distance is shorter than 300 m, so a trial or further analysis is needed to reduce the safe radius of the tool to 200 m. By calculating the maximum flyrock throw distance using the dimensional analysis method by Ebrahim Ghasemi's theory by comparing the estimated flyrock throw based on the blasting geometry and the actual flyrock throw, the percentage error is 24,5% with an average throw distance of 70.55 m. Based on the results of the dimensional analysis, it is estimated that the theoretical longest throwing distance is 156,64 m. This indicates that the blasting geometry applied by PT. Putra Perkasa Abadi PT.
