This volcanic activity has caused cold lava (debris) floods around the Semeru slopes including the Leprak River. The purpose of this final project is to plan an open type sabo dam (slit type) that is able to retain sediment from debris floods in the Leprak River. Sabo dam planning begins with determining the location of the sabo dam position, followed by hydrological analysis. This hydrological analysis uses rainfall data from 2010-2021 in the Rejali Sub-watershed using the average method and continued with frequency analysis to obtain rainfall plans. The calculation of the 100-year return period plan flood discharge uses the Nakayasu Synthesized Unit Hydrograph (HSS). After obtaining the plan flood discharge then analyze the effect of sediment to obtain the design discharge. This LE-CD 01 Sabo Dam planning consists of main dam, apron, sub dam, and edge wall and calculates the storage capacity of the sabo dam. The stability analysis of the planned sabo dam is carried out on the overturning force, shear, and bearing capacity of the foundation soil. The last stage is drawing the sabo dam design drawings. Based on hydrological analysis, the design flood discharge is 262,041 m3/det. In this planning, a main dam is obtained with a total height of 13 m, a spillway width of 3 m, an upstream slope of 0.5 and a downstream slope of 0.2. Apron is obtained 1.5 m thick and 40 m long. The sub dam is obtained with a total height of 8 m and an edge wall height of 6 m, while the total storage volume is 105.059,947 m3. Keywords: Sabo Dam, Leprak River, Hydrological Analysis, Stability
